Astral Cowboy joining the ranks.  So glad to have found this forum by way of a recent Spectropop digest. Spectropop used to be a great ressource for some Sunshine Pop themed discussion but in recent years it's been pretty dead. I hope we can get some cool discussions going here. It's a great idea with a forum devoted solely to the sound of ba-ba-baaahs.... ;D |

Hello, all...I have been a vinyl collector for many years now, but I am new to this forum...I, however am not new to the world of Sunshine Pop. My favorite groups include, in no particular order, The 5th Dimension, The Free Design, Spanky & Our Gang, The Friends Of Distinction, The Arbors, The Sundowners, The Cyrkle, The Love Generation, Orpheus, The Peppermint Rainbow, The Peanut Butter Conspiracy, Eternity's Children, The Sunshine Company, The Happenings, Harpers Bizarre, The Millenium, and anything Curt Boettcher's ever been a part of! I also dig the forays of Bobby Vee, Enoch Light, and The Anita Kerr Singers into the "Sunshine Pop" realm...There are many more I'm sure, but this is a start. And I'm always looking for similar artists that have somehow escaped me over the years...so I could use a few pointers...So do I qualify for membership here or what?
